Summer Series: We are continuing our summer series in our Wednesday night Bible class. This is a great opportunity to get involved in deeper Bible study with your church family as we talk about who we are as a church, and why we believe what we believe. Make plans to join us! Invite your friends to come learn with us, too!
Ladies Class: The Ladies Class will resume for the fall on Tuesday, September 11. They have chosen to study from the book “Satan’s Tactics—The War for our Hearts and Souls.” If you want a book, please put your name in the basket on the table.
Appreciation Day: We are planning an appreciation day for September 16th. We want to honor God for his faithfulness and show our appreciation for all the hard work that has been done this summer. We will be having a fellowship lunch after morning service. Rotisserie chicken will be provided. Other sides and desserts will be pot-luck style. Make plans to be there and invite your friends!
Forest Hills: We have the opportunity to lead the residents of Forest Hills Nursing Home in worship next Sunday from 2:30-3. Make plans to be there!
Invitation Cards: There are small business cards on the table. Take some to invite others to worship with us!
Congratulations: Congratulations to Emily (Nowakowski) and Curt Smelly, who were united in marriage last week. Their address is 740 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
Family & Parent Class: Don’t forget about our family and parenting class for all young adults and young families. It meets on Sunday mornings at 9am in the Fireside Room.
Vacation: Brad will be taking some time off beginning on Monday. He plans to be back in the office next week.
