Robin’s (Sue Wirsing’s daughter) father-in-law (Jerry Creager) recently passed away. Sue left to be with the family in Tennessee. Please be praying for the family. Ron Fisher (Jan Ehni’s brother-in-law) had a stint put into a 75% blockage and has another blockage of 60% which the doctors are watching. Pat Rice’s surgery last week went well. She is in ICU.   Right now everything looks good. Please continue praying for her recovery & for Bill as he supports her. Colten Roberts was called to Texas for work for the next six weeks. Ashley and Doug Sands (Amanda Schrum’s sister & brother-in-law) are expecting their first child in early May. There are some serious health concerns, so prayers are especially needed.

Please continue your prayers for those for whom prayer has been requested: Jim Bass, Harold Dailey (Dee Bigler’s brother), Missy Dalto (friend of Karen Digiandomenico & Darlene Baker), Bob Digiandomenco, Mike Gaston’s parents, Blake George (Jan Ehni’s nephew), Elaine Hannahs (Brad’s mother), Janie Judge (Jamie’s mom), Kevin Kalany, Betty Sanders (cancer), Nancy Stonebraker (Kathy Green’s mom) & Jimmy Thrash.

Please continue to pray and encourage those who are no longer able to worship with us…Evelyn Barker, Ella Bell, Bill & Sue Daley, Mae Deller, Wilda Freeland, Joyce Orzolek, Alice Shunk, Leon & June Smith, Jim Thrash, Marlene Trisolene and Joanne Wallner.

Please keep our expectant mothers in your prayers: Andrea Baldwin (March 10th) & Maizee Bunner (March).

Please continue to pray for those who are serving in the military: Jason Harris (Bill & Pat Rice’s son-in-law) and Joey Stenger (Joe & Karen’s son).

Our sympathy goes out to Jane Kalonick and her family at the death of Helen Kalonick, Jane’s mother-in-law.

The life of following Jesus is an active life. We’ve been invited to put our faith in action. As a church, we’re always trying to find ways to live this active faith. Here are just a few ways for you to get involved. This is just a starting point!

  • Praying for those who are sick and hurting & writing cards to them.
  • Become a part of the Ministry of Encouragement.
  • Give old eye classes, ink cartridges, greeting cards, “Box Tops & Campbell’s Labels for Education, for various ministries.
  • Take food or provide other assistance to the sick and those who are grieving.
  • Go out of your way to welcome guests in our worship gatherings.
  • Volunteer to teach or assist in our Children’s Ministry. No experience needed, just a willingness to serve!
