GROUND BREAKING 9.20.15
We are really glad that you are here with us today, because today is a really exciting day in the life of our church! For years we have been planning and working toward building a new building to help us continue to grow in sharing the Good News of the Kingdom of God in the Ohio Valley. And the day is finally here for us to break ground on that new building! It has been a long journey, with a lot of planning, meeting, giving, praying, working, and anticipating. There have been exciting moments, disappointing moments, and steps of faith along the way. But through it all, God has been good, God has been faithful, and God has been leading us.
We are prayerfully excited about the opportunity today to break ground on the new building, and we hope you will join us in this celebration of new beginnings! Our Bible Class today will happen as usual, and we will meet to worship and surround the Lord’s Table together at 10 as usual. Then after a shorten worship gathering, we will meet for a fellowship meal upstairs in the multipurpose room. There will be plenty of food, so even if you did not bring anything, stay and eat with us! After lunch, at 1pm, we will meet together at the new property on Reservoir Road (47692). (Please park in the grass, or at Dr. Spadafore’s office, not in Woodbury’s lot). We will have a short time of worship, prayer, and reflection before we all together break ground. So bring a lawn chair and shovel, and a grateful & excited heart! This evening, we will not be meeting for evening worship, but communion will be provided at 6pm.
We have been so blessed by a God who loves us, blesses us, and works in us! We can’t wait to see the future that God has in store for us!
