Teaching Quarter: We are making plans for the teaching quarter that will begin in September. Students who are moving up to a new class will do so in the new quarter. Parents, this is a great time to make a commitment to bring your kids to learn more about Jesus and what it means to follow Him. It’s an important part of our church’s ministry and in the spiritual development of our kids. We are still in need of one teacher on Sunday morning for 4-5-K. All the teaching materials are in the classrooms. Teachers, make sure to pick them up.
Summer Series: We are continuing our summer series in our Wednesday night Bible class. This is a great opportunity to get involved in deeper Bible study with your church family as we talk about who we are as a church, and why we believe what we believe. Make plans to join us! Invite your friends to come learn with us, too!
Relocated: Keith and Nisha Stacks, who have been worshipping with us for a while, were relocated to West Virginia for work. They wanted to say thank you to everyone for welcoming them and helping them grow spiritually while they were here. We will publish their new address when they are settled.
Invitation Cards: There are small business cards on the table. Take some to invite others to worship with us!
Sympathy: We extend our sympathy to Louise Craft and her family. Her father-in-law (Maizee and Mandee’s grandfather) Emmet Craft passed away last week.
Ladies Class: The Ladies Class will resume for the fall on Tuesday, September 11. They have chosen to study from the book “Satan’s Tactics—The War for our Hearts and Souls.” If you want a book, please put your name in the basket on the table.
Appreciation Day: We are planning an appreciation day for September 16th. We want to honor God for his faithfulness and show our appreciation for all the hard work that has been done this summer. We will be having a fellowship lunch after morning service.
