VBS Planning: Thank you to everyone who helped to make Vacation Bible School 2018 a success! From the planning & decorating, to the teaching & team leading, the refreshments & registration, VBS was the result of a lot of time, effort, and sacrifice. Thank you to everyone who gave their time, their talent, and donations! We had as many as 45 kids and 154 total kids, adults, and volunteers! Most of all, we praise God for his wonderful creation, guidance, salvation, and purpose for us. We pray that God would use VBS to instill wonder into all our hearts, and especially those of the kids who participated. Thank you!
Teaching Quarter: We are making plans for the teaching quarter that will begin in September. Students who are moving up to a new class will do so in the new quarter. Parents, this a great time to make a commitment to bring your kids to learn more about Jesus and what it means to follow him. It’s an important part of our church’s ministry and in the spiritual development of our kids. We are also in need of teachers, especially new teachers. If you can help, sign up on the bulletin board by the offices or talk with Dennie Green.
Paving Delayed: We will keep you updated on the paving of the parking lot.
Bonfire & Hotdog Roast: Weather permitting, we are planning a bonfire and hotdog roast for tonight following evening services.
Sympathy: We extend our sympathy to Ken Frye. His brother, James Frye, passed away last week.
Summer Series: We will be diving back into our summer series in our Wednesday night Bible class this coming Wednesday. This is a great opportunity to get involved in deeper Bible study with your church family as we talk about who we are as a church, and why we believe what we believe. Make plans to join us! Invite your friends to come learn with us, too!
