News & Notes
Elder Selection Process:
Today is the last day to submit names of potential elders. There is an information form on the table by the bulletins. We ask that each member pray and reflect over the information provided on that form. Submit that completed form to the shepherds by this evening, September 4th.
Building Project:
Things are progressing quickly in our building project. A final report will be presented at the end of the project. A new pew is at the end of our fellowship hall. We hope you like it. The remaining cost of our pews is $43,078. The average pew is 12 feet long and cost approximately $1140. If you could help in purchasing a pew, it would be greatly appreciated. Please mark and give the funds to one of the shepherds. —Thank You
Wednesday Class:
Every Wednesday at 7pm, we have classes for adults & children of all ages. If you aren’t currently involved in our Wednesday nights, now is a great time to get plugged in! Wednesday nights are some of the best ways to connect with the church family and to grow in your discipleship to Jesus.
Ladies Class:
The ladies class will be learning from Judges and Ruth this fall. If you would like to order a study book or have questions, see Rhonda Rodak.
Sympathy:
David Pyle (Chris Davis’ uncle) recently passed away. We extend our sympathy to his family.
SONG BOOKS & BIBLES:
Song books, song supplements (songs not in our song books), and bibles are available on the shelf to the right of the fellowship hall. Feel free to take one to use during worship.
Bike & Trike Club:
The Bike and Trike club’s next ride will be on September 10th. See Joe Stenger or Kyle Sowinski for details. If you or someone you know enjoys riding motorcycles, make plans to participate and invite others!
College student addresses:
It’s that time of year again! We need an updated address for all of our college students so we can stay in touch. Please write it down & give it to Joyce or email it to stcchurch@sbcglobal.net
