PRAYER CONCERNS
Randy Nolte is at home recovering from last Tuesday’s hernia surgery. Mary Taylor is doing very well after having a stent inserted into one of her arteries a few days ago. Neil Kent’s condition continues to weaken. He is in Park Health Care Center.
Kevin Kalany is now staying at the “Family House” near the WVU Hospital while his progress is monitored.   Curtis Blake, Darlene Straub’s father, was admitted to Wheeling Hospital last week with a low-grade infection.
Rhonda Hashman, Paige’s mother, will undergo additional surgery on her neck this coming Tuesday in Allegheny General.   Raymon Higgs, Brenda Sponhaltz’s father, is now undergoing physical therapy in Belmont Community Hospital. Gene Garczyk, Carol Kovachic’s brother, is improving following his recent gall bladder surgery. Kenny Swisher, Vonda’s stepson, is recovering at home from recent open heart surgery. Mackenzie Phillips, Kay Sowinski’s 3-year old niece, is to consult with a specialist to determine the cause of the loss of hearing in her right ear.

SYMPATHY
We were saddened to learn of the death of Bob Schwertfeger, the father-in-law of Nancy Hudson’s daughter, Christy, a few days ago. His funeral was last Sunday in Moundsville.

It was so good to have Kate Bain back with us last Sunday evening. Although she continues to struggle with various health problems, she hopes to be able to worship with us on Sunday evenings.

OUR MILITARY PERSONNEL
Those of our church family and extended church family who are serving in the military are Nathan Rodak (Bill & Joan’s grandson), Marc & Kristen Roy (Pearl Roy’s grandson & granddaughter), Joe Stenger and Dylan Usenick.

TEEN ACTIVITIES
Brad & several of our youth will be leaving for Parkersburg this afternoon to participate in the Ohio Valley Work Camp during which they will work with 500 others in helping to paint 40+ houses.

YOUTH ACTIVITY
All the youth in Grades 1-6 are invited to participate in an afternoon of activities here at the church building next Sunday, June 26 (1:00-3:00). If you are willing to help, please contact Brad.

CAMP CONCERN
July is rapidly approaching and to many of our church family, that means Camp Concern is getting near. To save $10.00 on the registration fee, those who are planning to attend Senior & Secondary Weeks must have their application postmarked by June 25 and those attending Intermediate & Junior Weeks, July 9. See the box at the bottom of the next column for all the dates. Brochures with applications in them are available on the table in the foyer.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
This summer’s VBS will be Aug. 8-12; 6:30-8:30 p.m. There will be a class for Adults again this year. If you would like to assist in any way, please contact Dennie Green.

WEDNESDAY ADULT CLASS SERIES
The Wednesday Adult summer series has had a great start over the past two weeks. This coming Wednesday, Bill Rodak will present the lesson “Go…You Know The Way” using Jn. 14:4 and 1 Jn. 2:16 as his texts.

SHEPHERDS-DEACONS-PREACHERS MEETING
Next Sunday at 4:30, all the shepherds, deacons and preachers will meet for their bi-monthly meeting .

MINISTRY OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Teams 1 & 4 will lead our Ministry Of Encouragement for the next two weeks.

BIRTHDAY ADDITION
Please add Allison Bileyu’s June 26th Birthday to your calendar. She is Joy Yontz’s granddaughter who attends with her regularly.

IN SEARCH OF THE LORD’S WAY
Next week’s lesson is “For All Time” in which the need for being a Christian will be emphasized. The weekly program can be seen Sundays at 7:30 a.m. on WTRF-TV, ch. 7.
