Nursery Format Change & New Ministry Opportunity
As we continue to settle into our new building, we will be making some format changes to our nursery during our morning worship gatherings. Starting next week, we will no longer have a class for ages 1-5 in the nursery. The nursery will be left open as an age-appropriate place for parents or caregivers to take advantage for children ages 0-2.
In place of the hour long class for ages 1-5, we are hoping to begin a “Children’s Bible Hour” for ages 3-6 during the teaching time of the Sunday service in one of our classrooms. We are looking for a group of volunteers to take on this ministry. Without several people willing to take on this ministry, we won’t be able to do it. If you are interested in helping, see one of the shepherds, an education deacon, or Brad.

Work Camp
The student ministry will be leaving for the MOV Work Camp next Sunday. Pray for the students, the homeowners, and for good weather!
Student Ministry TND

The next student ministry Thursday Night Devotional will be this week at the Hirauk’s at 7pm. If you or someone you know is in Jr High or High School, make plans to be there!

Office Administrator Job
After years of faithful and effective service as our office administrator and secretary, Joyce Slatt will be retiring soon. We are looking to hire someone to take over. The position requires 16-20 hours per week, good administrative & personal skills, and faithful commitment. If you are interested in applying for the position, please see one of the shepherds

“The God We Serve”
The Wednesday night summer series continues this week. Terry Lively will lead our study by teaching “The Glory of God” from Psalm 19v1. Read ahead and come ready for a great discussion.

Ministry Opportunity from the Ladies Class
The ladies’ class received a letter from Karen and Ron Clayton, missionaries in India concerning the plight of many Christian widows whose husbands have died or were killed by enemies of Christianity.
The ladies’ class has contributed $1000 to the cause which is half the goal of $2000 to care for one widow’s debts.
We are asking the other women of the congregation to donate any money they can to this cause. See Linda Carpenter to contribute any amount.
Teachers Needed
We are still in need of teachers for this quarter, and for the rest of the year. Please see Dennie to help.
