Winterfest: Be praying for our teens and their chaperones as they head to Gatlinburg, Tennessee to join thousands of other teens for Winterfest on Friday. Pray that God would accomplish His purpose in the hearts of those who are part of the weekend, and pray for a safe & uneventful travel.
“I AM” Series: The winter series in our Wednesday night adult class has been great so far! Doug Frye will be leading our class this week. We will be studying from John 10v7-10 and exploring what it means that Jesus is “The Gate.” Recordings are available on our website, under the media tab.
Teachers Needed: The new teaching quarter in our children’s ministry begins in March. If you would be willing to teach, please sign up on the bulletin board in the back hallway by the multipurpose room.
Prayer Request: Bob Digiandomenico publicly asked for prayers last week for some physical and emotional struggles.
Nailers Game: We are planning a church-wide trip to a Wheeling Nailers game on Saturday, March 25. If you are interested in going, please contact Keaton by Wednesday, February 22 so we have an idea of how many tickets to get.
Ladies Class: The ladies’ class is planning to meet on March 7 at 6pm. If you plan to attend, please fill out a questionnaire (available by the bulletins) and return it by today.
Calendar Correction: Please add Isabelle Schrum’s Feb. 10 birthday to your calendars.
Getting Plugged In: Pray for those who are sick and hurting & writing cards for them. Take food or provide other assistance to the sick or grieving. Go out of your way to welcome guests in our worship gatherings. Volunteer to teach a children’s class. or assist in our Children’s Ministry. No experience needed, just a willingness to serve! Help in our nursery & kids’s classes Visit, call and write our shut-ins. Come up with creative ways we can fulfill our mission to love God and to love people. Be active in telling the good news and loving people in practical & intentional ways. Participate and serve in our worship gatherings and classes.
