Jeff Bigler will undergo back surgery on Jan. 7 to fuse his spine. Clyde Carpenter is to consult with a pulmonary specialist regarding his persistent coughing. Val Roxby, the preacher for the East Main church in Barnesville, is recovering from recent heart bypass surgery.
Our prayers continue to be needed for the following for whom our prayers have been requested … Sue Beisel, Gail Bigler, Faith Hilton (Bunky Loy’s granddaughter), Kelly Hupp and her family, Judy Kinemond (Mary Donna Wodarcyk’s daughter-in-law, cancer), Kevin Kalany, Jackie Martz (friend of Donna Hirauk), Charlotte Mason (Mae Deller’s daughter, cancer), Pearl Roy, Peg Spielvogel, David Swann (Donna Hirauk’s brother, neck surgery), Sue Wirsing, Jerry Yost (preacher for the Duffy congregation) and Mary Zink.

Why not visit some of them during the holidays and bring some joy to their lives?
SERVING IN THE MILITARY

SYMPATHY
We extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Vonda Swisher who passed away early Saturday morning, Dec. 22. A Memorial Service was conducted in her honor last Thursday. She was a great servant of the Lord and she will be deeply missed by her StC church family.
SYMPATHY
Our sympathy also goes out to Bill Rice in the death of his niece, Susan Foy (Ethel Kent’s daughter), last Monday morning.

IN SEARCH OF THE LORD’S WAY
In order to be right with God, there are several things we must come to know about God and our responsibilities toward Him. Our greatest blessing is to know the Lord Jesus and to be His followers. In next week’s presentation, “Things We Must Know,” Phil Sanders will discuss some of those things. The program can be viewed locally every Sunday at 7:30 a.m. on WTRF-TV, Ch. 7.
WAYS TO MINISTER TO OTHERS
Your old eyeglasses (especially ones for reading) are needed for various mission points.
We are still collecting cartridges from Inkjets and Faxes to help with the support of the children who reside at the Shulz-Lewis Children’s Home in Valparaiso, Indiana.
We are continuing to collect the fronts of used greeting cards. (No Christmas Cards, please.)
“Box Tops for Education” and “Campbell’s Labels for Education” are needed by Mid-Western Children’s Home.
If you want to help with any of these ongoing ministries, please bring the items and place them in the appropriate containers on the table in the hallway.
