PRAYER CONCERNS
Kevin Kalany is to return to Morgantown in a few days as a follow-up visit to his Oct. 27th appointment during which his doctors told him his blood count was down. Ray Ramsay’s leg had improved, but the redness has returned. He is to go to Morgantown early this week to have it checked and possibly have the metal rod removed. Bill Miller is at home recovering from last Tuesday’s successful thyroid surgery.
Joy Yontz remains at home recovering from a broken ankle. Denise Crawford is undergoing treatment to shrink her thyroid. Due to the recent flare up of her diverticulitis, Vera Perry’s hip replacement surgery was postponed indefinitely. Eleanor Palimetakis is doing well as she recovers from last Monday’s eye cataract surgery. Mary Bass is recovering from last Tuesday’s oral surgery.
Nellie Garczyk, Carol Kovachic’s mother, was in EORH last week with pneumonia. Louis Bain, Kate’s husband, is scheduled to have a Cat-scan on Nov. 15 to check on a lump on his thyroid. He continues to undergo radiation treatments. Pat Chapman, Scott’s mother, has been undergoing physical rehabilitation in Peterson for the past few weeks. Jim Yeager, Rich Daley’s cousin, was in ICU at OVMC most of last week recovering from a ruptured appendix. Becky McCoy, Pat Rice’s daughter, is consulting with her doctors regarding the recent diagnosis of breast cancer.

IN HONOR OF OUR VETERANS
To honor our veterans, the children have made cards to say “Thank You.” All those who are presently serving or have served in the military are asked to stop by the children in the foyer as you leave today to pick up your card.
PUBLIC RESPONSE
Last Sunday evening, Julie Daley responded to the invitation to request our prayers for help in controlling her anger and in adjusting to their moving back to the St.C. area. Our prayers are with Julie as she tries to cope with both of these issues.
MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP
Following this evening’s worship service, we will meet in the MP Room for a period of informal fellowship to honor those with Birthdays or Wedding Anniversaries in November. Care Group A will be in charge of the preparations and cleanup.
YOUTH RETREAT
Several of our youth and young adults will be participating in the St.C. Annual Youth Retreat at Grand Vue Park this coming weekend, Nov. 11-13. Contact Brad for more information or if you desire to participate.
SNOWBIRDS
Carl & Nancy Stonebraker left for Florida for the winter on Oct. 29 and John & Mary Taylor are planning to leave for Florida next weekend. Their addresses are in the directory. We will miss them and will look forward to their return in the spring.
MISSIONAL ENGAGEMENT GROUP
The Missional Engagement Group,” our newly formed group which meets regularly every week continues to welcome new participants. If you are interested in reaching out to the community with Christ’s message, this ministry is for you. (Listen to the announcements today for this week’s time and location.)

GLEANER CANS
Next Sunday is the deadline for returning the cans in which you have been saving your money over the past few months to help support the children who reside at Potter Children’s Home in Bowling Green, KY. Please return the cans to the box on the table in the hallway. If you have not been using the coin cans and would still like to contribute, give your check or cash to Everett by the same deadline.
BORROWING TABLES OR CHAIRS
There is a sign-out list on the bulletin board in the secretary’s office for you to use when borrowing tables or chairs. Please sign the list ahead of time so we can make sure they will be available when you need them. Please use only the ones in the basement of the new building and only the metal chairs.
