PRAYER CONCERNS

Bob Digiandomenico suffered a broken arm in a car accident Wednesday. Skip & Linda Gooch were under the weather this past week. Wilda Freeland is doing well—she is back in her apartment in Wheeling.  Ruth Ann Gill, Ryan’s mother was taken to the E-room last Sunday afternoon.  X-rays showed some pneumonia.  She was able to keep her flight home Monday to Alabama.  It was good to see Bertha Kettlewell with us last Sunday morning.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Dom Nardo, an 8th grader at St. Clairsville who was killed in an ATV accident this past week.  Bill Saunders has been released from the hospital to continue rehab at home. Colten Strauss lacerated his spleen in a football game Friday night. He’s been moved out of ICU, but will probably be in the hospital for a few more days.

Please continue your prayers for those for whom prayer has been requested recently: Kate Bain,  Wyatt (Jason & Angel Baker’s foster baby, broken leg), Gail Bigler (recovering from neck surgery),  Joe Bine (Pat Rice’s brother), Sam Burkhart , Carolyn Campbell,  Gunner Dudzik (friend of Jodi Frye, 3 1/2 years old), Karen Jones (mother of Leslie Huffman’s co-worker, brain cancer), Judy Kinemond (Mary Donna Wodarcyk’s daughter-in-law, cancer, Arlene Kopyar, Danny McMillan (broken hip), Matthew Mead (John Burghy’s nephew), June Metcalf  (Amy Games’ mother—dementia), Ruth Ann Miller (Nancy Miller’s sister, Parkinson’s) and Margaret Noling  (John’s mother, MRSA). FREE BOOKS AVAILABLE

Everett has left several of his books on the shelves in the preacher’s office which he no longer wants or needs.  He is offering them free of charge to anyone who would like to have them to assist in their study of the Bible.   Please do not take any from the shelves which have cards with names on them.

IN SEARCH OF THE LORD’S WAY

Our world has grown increasingly indifferent to God and His ways.  Someone has called this the “whatever” generation that seems undisturbed about anything.  We may ignore God, but no one can ignore God for long.

Next week’s lesson by Phil Sanders is, “Whatever”.  The televised program can be seen locally every Sunday, 7:30a.m. on WTRF-TV, Ch. 7.
