NEXT SUNDAY’S WORSHIP SERVICE

During next Sunday morning’s worship service, the entire service will be focused on The Lord’s Supper.  We won’t eat the Lord’s Supper until toward the end of the service.  We’re wanting everyone to know in advance so you can adjust your plans so you won’t miss communing by having to leave early.

MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP & BRIDAL SHOWER

Following next Sunday evening’s worship service, we will meet in the MP Room for our Monthly Fellowship and Bridal Shower for Jerry & Kelley Hatcher.  If you would like to contribute toward the money-tree for the newlyweds, please give your money to Gail Bigler, Amy Games or Pam Moore by this coming Wednesday, Nov. 28.  The tree will be presented to Jerry & Kelley during the Bridal Shower. All those with Birthdays or Wedding Anniversaries during December will be honored during the Fellowship. Care Group A is in charge of the Bridal Shower and Care Group B will be in charge of the Fellowship.

QUILTING MINISTRY

After taking last week off due to Thanksgiving, those involved in making quilts for various mission fields will resume meeting this coming Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the MP Room.

WINTER EDUCATION QUARTER

The Winter Quarter for our Bible Classes will begin next Sunday.  The present teachers are reminded to return their teaching manuals and reusable materials to the table outside Brad’s office.

TEACHERS NEEDED FOR THE WINTER QUARTER

We still need several teachers for the Winter Quarter which begins Dec. 2.  Please check the bulletin board across from Brad’s office to see how you can help teach our children.

MEN’S BREAKFAST

Due to the WV Super Six Football Championships being held in Wheeling this coming weekend, the Men’s Breakfast will be Dec. 9 instead of this coming Saturday.

PREPARATION OF COMMUNION

We still have several months for which we need individuals or families to prepare Communion for one month in 2013.  If you are willing to help, please sign the list on the bulletin board. If you have any questions about what is involved, please ask Linda Gooch or Judy Hutson.

GLEANER CANS

Next Sunday evening is the deadline for bringing the cans filled with coins to help with the support of the children at Potter Children’s Home in Bowling Green, KY.  Please place the cans in the box across from Everett’s office.  If you have not been saving your cash for the children and would still like to help, you can give cash or a check to Everett.  Please make the checks payable to “Potter Children’s Home.”

IN SEARCH OF THE LORD’S WAY

People are ignoring God, but God isn’t going anywhere. He still rules the world.  In next week’s lesson, “God Isn’t Going Away,” Phil Sanders will challenge the TV audience to continue paying attention to God.  The program can be viewed every Sunday at 7:30 a.m. on WTRF-TV, Ch. 7.
