New requests & updates: Charles Boger had hip surgery last week. John Burghy had cancer removed from the side of his face. Alicia Estadt is to have a port put in November 10. Willey Nice is having back problems and is also undergoing several tests. Bill Rice had skin cancer removed. John Sambuco had a knee replacement on Tuesday.

News & Notes
Congregational Meeting: There will be a congregational meeting on October 30 after a brief devotional to provide an update on the elder selection process. Make plans to be there for this important meeting.
Ladies Class: The ladies class continues on Tuesday, at 6pm in the Fireside Room. This is a great opportunity to grow closer together and grow as a follower of Jesus, and to invite others!
Teen Fall Retreat: The teen fall retreat for students in 7-12 grade will be November 4-6 at Grandvue Park. This is a great chance to grow closer together and closer to God. If you are a teen, make plans to be a part of it. The cost is $30. See Keaton for more details. We also need adult volunteers to help make the weekend happen. If you can help, talk with Keaton.
BIBLE CLASSES: We have classes for all ages on Sundays at 9am and Wednesdays at 7pm that are a great way to learn more about the Scriptures and to grow closer together as a church. We hope to see you there!
Noah’s ark The Somerton Church of Christ has invited us to see the Noah’s Ark exhibit at the Creation Museum in Kentucky on October 29. The bus has already been paid for, but you will need to pay for the entrance ticket. Adults are $40, seniors & students are $31, kids 5-12 are $26, and kids under 5 are free.
