PRAYER REQUESTS
Vonda Swisher is recovering in OSU Hospital from last Wednesday’s back surgery to repair some of the injuries she experienced in a fall on Friday, Sept. 28. She also experienced broken bones in her face and several lacerations on various parts of her body. Mary Donna Wodarcyk is now home after being hospitalized early last week with pneumonia. Esther Koerber, Cindy Goff’s mother, is improving at home following hospitalization for treatment for blockage in one of her arteries. Pam Thrash is recovering at home from cellulitis in her legs. The recent tests revealed that Vera Perry has an accumulation of blood in her hip which has been causing her some pain. Jimmie Thrash underwent one of his regular checkups on his ears last Thursday in Columbus.
Jennifer Jeffries, the Kopyars’ daughter, was to undergo surgery last Friday in Wheeling Hospital to remove part of her colon. Michael Coiner, Dot Nice’s nephew, has been diagnosed with a return of brain cancer.
Robert Lee Rodak, Bill’s brother, is now home after being hospitalized last week with pancreatitis and problems with his gall bladder. Jane Simons, a good friend of Sam Miller, needs our prayers as she struggles with various health issues and difficulties in providing proper care for her two young children. Missy Roux, a former co-worker of Janet Lallathin, has a severe resistant infection of her kidneys and bladder.
Pam Tribbie has been experiencing breathing and mobility problems. Mike Tribbie has been experiencing some chest pains.

SYMPATHY
Our genuine sympathy is extended to Eleanor Palimetakis and her family in last Monday’s death of her mother and our sister-in-Christ, Virginia Orrison. The funeral was this past Friday. She truly will be missed by her church family as well as all of her friends.
We also extend our sympathy to Sue Beisel, in last Tuesday’s death of her sister-in-law, Margen Beisel, in Sardis, OH.

Last Sunday morning, it was announced that Brenda McCreary has expressed her desire to serve with the StC church family under our shepherds’ oversight. Brenda comes to us from the Wheeling congregation. She and her husband, Gerald (“Chick”) resides in St.C. She will be in Care Group B. We welcome her to our local family.

MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP
All those with Birthdays or Wedding Anniversaries will be honored during our Monthly Fellowship following next Sunday evening’s worship service. We will also be honoring Aaron & Morgan Baker with a Bridal Shower in honor of their recent marriage. If you would like to contribute toward a “Money-Tree” for Aaron & Morgan, please give the money to Gail Bigler, Amy Games or Pam Moore by this coming Wednesday evening. Care Group A will be in charge of the Shower and Care Group C will be in charge of preparing for and cleaning up after the Fellowship.
SHEPHERDS-DEACONS-PREACHERS MEETING
The bi-monthly meeting for our shepherds, deacons and preachers will be Sunday, Oct. 14, at 4:30 in Room 14. The proposed 2013 budgets for each area of ministry are to be submitted by each deacon by that date.
GLEANER CANS
We have only a few more weeks to fill the cans to help with the support of the children who live at Potter Children’s Home in Bowling Green, KY. The deadline is Nov. 4.
