Donna Burghy is still recovering from her recent back injury. Carolyn Campbell is recovering from numerous health issues. Charles Lucas (Jodi Vickers’ and Mary Zink’s father) had gall bladder surgery. Kristen Pierce-Rice (Bill Rice’s 17 year old great niece, suffering from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma) has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer—she is only the 7th child to have it. She handled her first treatment well.

OCTOBER FELLOWSHIP/SHOWER
The family of Kyle & Jessica Sowinski is celebrating their recent marriage by inviting the church family to a shower in their honor. It will be held in conjunction with our Monthly Fellowship tonight. The Sowinskis will take care of the arrangements for the shower and Care Group C will be in charge of the arrangements for the Fellowship.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT CLASS
We our continuing the Wednesday night adult study through the books of I & II Corinthians. Tim McKeen will beginning our discussion of II Corinthians this week.
We also have Bible-based interactive classes for children of all ages.
FREE BOOKS AVAILABLE
Everett has left several of his books on the shelves in the preacher’s office which he no longer wants or needs. He is offering them free of charge to anyone who would like to have them to assist in their study of the Bible. Please do not take any from the shelves which have cards with Brad’s name on them. (He plans to take the books on those shelves.)

Remember to save your loose change to help with the support of the children who reside at Potter’s Children Home in Bowling Green, KY. The deadline for returning the cans will be Nov. 10.

All the men and boys are invited to the monthly breakfast at Eat ‘N Park this coming Saturday at 8:30 a.m.
WAYS TO MINISTER TO OTHERS
Your old eyeglasses (especially ones for reading) are needed for various mission points.
We are still collecting cartridges from Inkjets and Faxes to help with the support of the children who reside at the Shulz-Lewis Children’s Home.
“Box Tops for Education” and “Campbell’s Labels for Education” are needed by Mid-Western Children’s Home. Only the UPC label is necessary. To save time and shipping expense, please cut the label out before placing them in the box in the hallway.
If you want to help with any of these ongoing ministries, please bring the items and place them in the appropriate containers on the table in the hallway.
FALL RETREAT
The teens are beginning to look forward to the annual fall retreat, held at Grandvue Park in Moundsville, West Virginia. The retreat will be November 8th-10th. All teens are encourage to be a part of the weekend. Chaperones will also be needed as well. If you questions, or would like more information, please see Brad.
