 BULLETIN BOARD

There are several flyers advertising events from other area congregations on the bulletin board by the water fountain in the lobby. Be sure to take a look to see what’s posted.

DEACONS

For the next two Sundays (Oct. 5 & Oct. 12) we will be accepting names of men who meet the qualifications of deacons as taught in 1 Timothy 3:8-13. Please sign your name when submitting the potential deacons names. Only signed letters will be considered. Please give them to one of the Shepherds by the conclusion of the evening service on Oct. 12. Thank You!

— The Shepherds

Recordings of the sermons and classes (along with downloadable PDFs of Brad’s sermon notes) are now available on our website at stcchurch.org/deacons. If you would like a CD recording of the sermons, let Joyce or Brad know.

OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE

With the initiative of Dot Saunders, we are collecting stuffed animals to donate to Children’s Services. This will be used to give a little comfort to children who experience trauma and hardship.

YOUTH EVENTS COMING UP

Mark your calendars for Nov. 14th-16th for the Fall Retreat. It’ll be here before you know it! As always, we will need chaperones, drivers, and others to help with behind the scenes preparations.

FUNDRAISER

The Gavin Adams/Helms’ family is having an online fundraiser for their son Adam (for whom we’ve been praying). You can buy a shirt or donate any amount. Any questions, see Kay Sowinski.

BIBLE CLASSES

On Sunday mornings at 9am and Wednesday nights at 7pm we have Bible classes for adults and children of all ages. These classes are a great opportunity for you and your family to grow in the knowledge and understanding of God’s word. We hope you’ll join us!

MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP TONIGHT

We will gather for a fellowship meal after our evening worship time to honor those with birthdays and anniversaries in October. Care group A will be in charge of set-up & clean-up. Everyone is invited to stay and fellowship together.

LADIES BIBLE CLASS

Ladies of all ages: – The ladies’ bible study will begin on Tuesday, Oct 21st at 6:00 at the building. Please order your copy of “Giving for All It’s Worth,” and bring it with you. If you have questions or need more info, please contact Amy Games.

PRAYER LIST UPDATES

In order to help us best serve the congregation’s prayer needs, we keep requests for members on the list as long as necessary. Requests we receive for friends and extended family stay on the list for about three weeks, unless we receive an update. This is to ensure we stay up-to-date. Thank you so much for your commitment to praying for others!
