Prayer Requests
New requests & updates: Charles Boger has been moved to Forest Hills. Peg Lucas (Jodi Vicker & Mary Zink’s mother) had surgery on Tuesday to relieve pressure on her spine. Alicia Estadt had a port put in last Tuesday. Eleanor Palimetakis  was hospitalized for a couple of days after suffering a slight stroke. Rita Yontz (Jim’s mom) has serious kidney issues, but she is too frail for dialysis.

News & Notes
Congregational Meeting: There will be a congregational meeting tonight after a brief devotional to provide an update on the elder selection process. Make plans to be there.

Sympathy: We extend our sympathy to Bill Richards. His nephew Denny Walker of Mt. Pleasant passed away.

Ladies Class: The ladies class continues on Tuesday, at 6pm in the Fireside Room. This is a great opportunity to grow closer together and grow as a follower of Jesus, & to invite others!

fifth Sunday Today is a 5th Sunday, which means that our contribution will go toward the building project.

Keep them in your prayers. Teen Fall Retreat The teen fall retreat for students in 7-12 grade will be November 4-6 at Grandvue Park. This is a great chance to grow closer together and closer to God. If you are a teen, make plans to be a part of it. The cost is $30. See Keaton for more details. We also need volunteers. If you can help, talk with Keaton.

BIBLE CLASSES We have classes for all ages on Sundays at 9am and Wednesdays at 7pm that are a great way to learn more about the Scriptures and to grow closer together as a church. We hope to see you there!

Elder selection:
The following men are up for consideration as prospective shepherds: Jeff Bigler, Jerry Moore, & Jay Rodak. There are support forms available on the table by the bulletin. It is important that each member fill out that support form after spending time in prayer. Those forms are due back to one of our current shepherds by November 6.

Commodity drive:
We will be collecting the following items for the Potter Children’s Home: All purpose flour Dishwasher machine detergent, Butterscotch chips, Adult hand lotion, Stroganoff Hamburger Helper [Due Nov 6 in the Fireside Room]

Men’s breakfast: The Men’s Breakfast will be Saturday (Nov 5) at 8:30 at Eat’n’Park. All men & boys are invited.
