Prayer Requests: Kate Bain is now home. Mary Bass has been taken off the ventilator and is now in a regular room. Maureen McBride is having a lot of back pain. She is undergoing tests. Brenda McCreary has a ruptured ear drum.

News & Notes: “I AM” Series The winter series in our Wednesday night adult class has been great so far! Dennie Green will be leading our class this week. We will be studying from John 15v1-8 and exploring what it means that Jesus is “The True Vine.”
Congratulations: Brad & Leah Hannahs have become the parents of a 6 lbs. 12 oz. baby boy. Rece Declan was born January 4, and was officially adopted on Jan. 8.
RJ & Andrea Nolte also succesfully adopted a baby boy last week!
Winterfest: Winterfest is Feb. 17-19. It is a conference for teenagers held in Gatlinburg, TN with over 15,000 students. It is a chance to hear great speakers, learn about colleges & ministry opportunities, and grow closer to each other & to God. The theme is is IDENTITY. Any teens who are interested need to sign up with Keaton today. The cost is $100. Financial assistance is available.
Stepping Down: Two weeks ago, we read a letter from Skip & Linda Gooch. Because of his health and frequent travels, Skip has decided to step down from his role as an elder. He and Linda will continue to be an important part of our family. We thank Skip and praise God for his service as one of our shepherds.
The Lord’s Table Preparation: We still have a few months open for the Lord’s Table preparation in the new year. If you are willing to help, please sign up on the bulletin board in the back hallway.
Family Announcements: Thanks for your help in writing down prayer requests and announcements to give to the shepherds before services begin. This helps make sure everyone can stay up-to-date.
