PRAYER CONCERNS

Charles Boger was to go home last Friday.  Harry Schrum is improving at Cumberland Pointe after having to go to the emergency room a few days ago with back pain and shortness of breath.  Pat Rice consulted with her doctor at the University of Virginia last week regarding the  return of her double vision.  Jocelyn Davis is to consult with a specialist this coming Friday concerning a hernia.

Matthew Schrum, Brad’s brother, is recovering  at home after being hospitalized a few days with pneumonia.  Cards of encouragement to Matt and his parents, Bob & Lynn Schrum, would be appreciated.  Chuck Vickers, Greg’s brother, underwent surgery last Monday in Wheeling Hospital.   The mass removed from Frankie Carnes, Amanda Schrum’s grandmother, was okay.  Jeff Wallace, Vera Perry’s son, is recovering at home from last Tuesday’s appendectomy.

The preliminary cancerous diagnosis for Jan Taylor, a friend of the Games, was incorrect. She has treatable carcinoid syndrome in her liver and colon.  Shelli Glasgow has requested our prayers for Kelly, a friend of hers, who is going through a difficult time. Tammy Baker, a friend of Mary Donna Wodarcyk, is waiting the results of tests on a brain tumor which was recently removed.  Tammy’s mother, Mildred Donley, is recovering from a stroke she experienced while waiting for Tammy’s surgery in Ruby Memorial in Morgantown.

It was great to have Edie Roberts back with us last Sunday as she continues to recover from recent hernia surgery.

Our prayers are still needed for Olivia Alexander,  (9-month old friend of Becky Bigler), Louis Bain (Kate’s husband), Evelyn Barker, Holly Bine (Pat Rice’s brother, cancer), Clyde Carpenter, Tamara Ernster (Sowinskis’ niece), Brian Games, Kari Games (Brian’s sister-in-law), Kevin Kalany, Deborah Lodge (Amber Hope’s stepmother), Vera Perry and Peg Spielvogel.
